Mission Statement
Lux Biosciences is
dedicated to the identification, optimization, development, and
commercialization of pharmaceutical products for the treatment of
ophthalmic diseases.
Identification
We license ophthalmic rights to
proprietary molecules and technologies from academic and corporate
partners. Generally, these have previously demonstrated proof-of-concept
in related non-ophthalmic diseases. Hence, we leverage common biological
mechanisms and pathways to accelerate the development of novel
medications for ophthalmic indications.
Optimization
We develop novel products based on
delivery of medications to the eye utilizing proprietary formulations
and technologies.
Development
We develop our product candidates and
gain approval in international markets.
Commercialization
We will market ophthalmic products
worldwide through our own sales organization and through commercial
collaborations. Lux Biosciences' formulations and products are patented
and/or patent pending in the U.S. and foreign countries.
