Eddy Anglade, M.D.
Dr. Anglade is the Chief Medical Officer of Lux Biosciences, Inc. Dr. Anglade most recently served as Vice President of the Clinical Development at Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. In this role, he was responsible for all clinical development activities from Phases 1 to 3 as well as participating in the formulation of R&D strategy, portfolio management, due diligence efforts, and licensing/partnering activities at Enzon. Recently, Enzon embarked on an industry-first pivotal study in lung transplantation. Prior to joining Enzon, Dr. Anglade served as Medical Director and Team Leader at Roche Laboratories, Inc. in the areas of virology and transplantation marketing. While at Roche, Dr. Anglade led a diverse team in the development and implementation of post-marketing studies with a budget exceeding $15 million for its transplantation (CellCept® and Zenapax®) and virology (Cytovene®) franchises. Dr. Anglade received his B.A. in Biology from Columbia University and M.D. from Yale University. After completion of an internship in Internal Medicine at Boston City Hospital, Dr. Anglade completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School. As a post-doctoral fellow at the National Eye Institute, his research interests included autoimmunity/immunology, cell growth and differentiation, and gene therapy.
